Elon Musk and Zuckerberg's UFC showdown?

Elon Musk and Zuckerberg's 1:1 Confrontation

In an article reported on July 1, the New York Times (NYT) mentioned a mixed martial arts confrontation between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. According to the article, coordination is underway to arrange a showdown between the two CEOs, arranged by UFC President Dana White.

Zuckerberg previously texted White to see if Musk had serious intentions after a social media discussion with Musk. In response, White called Musk to confirm he was interested in a showdown with Musk.

Since then, White has been on the phone with the two billionaires nightly to arrange a fight-off, and recently told the NYT on June 27 that "they've talked to the two until 12:45 a.m., and they both want a showdown."

It is not clear whether the showdown between the two CEOs will actually take place, but Chairman White and a number of sources say the outline of the showdown is taking shape.

If the match is held, it will be in the form of a wartime match, and the UFC will not be officially involved. The showdown will take on the nature of a charity event, with Las Vegas being preferred as the venue for the showdown. Musk tweeted that a showdown could take place at the Roman Coliseum. However, approval from the Nevada Athletic Commission is required to proceed with the competition in Las Vegas.

According to the New York Times, Zuckerberg's friends and advisers largely support the confrontation, but some oppose it because it is a waste of time.

Zuckerberg is 13 years younger and is considered to have a slight advantage in this regard because he has exercised intense exercises such as practicing jiu-jitsu in the last 18 months, but Musk is also considered to have an advantage because of his much larger physique.

Chairman White is concerned about the difference in weight between the two and expects it to be "the biggest fight in the history of martial arts sports."

Musk usually rarely exercises and has suffered back injuries since his confrontation with a sumo wrestler in the past, but recently he has said he is practicing Japanese martial arts judo and extreme progress karate.

Musk mentioned to White that he would 'not lose weight' and intends to take advantage of his weight class advantage.

However, Musk's mother has recently opposed the actual confrontation between the two on Twitter, saying, "Don't encourage this confrontation."
